You guys have sold me on this. I called around and found out my eye dr. has to give me my prescription if I request it so I'm going to demand he give it to me when I go in Nov. for my exam. I want some hot deal glasses. He's refused to give it to me in the past. In fact, I'm going to ask when I make the appointment and if they tell me they don't give out prescriptions again I'll just find a new dr. who will.
Yes, whenever you get a new prescription your doctor should write it down and give you a copy and it's good for 2 years. I just go to Costco and have mine done for $45. Since my Dad had a detached retina in both of his eyes I also have to have my pupils dilated and it's supposed to cost another $15 but since I've been a good customer for so many years he never charges me for this.

This website which shais_mom has already posted doesn't even ask for a copy of your prescription or a phone number of your eye doctor. I was kind of surprised by this. I didn't know my pupilary distance so I called Costco and they gave it to me over the phone. I had glasses made there several years ago and even though they said it might change I just went with the old one and it was correct. Usually it shouldn't change. I did go back to Costco to have my new glasses adjusted free of charge so now they fit me better.

Some people haven't liked their glasses from Zenni Optical and they said that if they had a problem that the customer service was horrible. My Dad found some websites about this and warned me about it. I now have a very mild prescription since I had Lasik surgery back in Jan. 2000 so I didn't have any problems.

They do have a guarantee which says:We take great pride in delivering a quality product at incredibly low prices. Every prescription order is meticulously checked by certified technicians for prescription accuracy and optical clarity before shipment. Since all orders are unique all sales must be final so please be extra careful in filling out your order.
Even so since we value your satisfaction above all if you are unsatisfied with your prescription eyeglasses for any reason just return the eyeglass with the order copy and case within four weeks and we will refund 50% of the cost of the glasses. We do not reimburse for shipping and handling.

Thanks for all of the nice comments. I think that the glasses look much better in person than they do in these pictures.
