I'm glad Miss Hoppy is back home with you now. Will continue with
prayers for a good outcome on her tests. ((Hugs)) for you both.

The doc called already! And the good news is that it is NOT the thymic lymphoma, it's just a thymoma, which means it is just that one tumor, not systemic, and is easier to treat. So that's a relief.

Thanks, Dr. Mayer! He said he was going to rush it to the lab, methinks maybe he also told them this was no ordinary bunny?

    WOOHOO! Best possible scenario!

The Prayer Pups do it again! Thanks, Phred!

'Course, all PTrs do a whopping great support line right along with 'em!

maybe he also told them this was no ordinary bunny?
Methinks Ms Hoppy gave him a look which communicated exactly that fact!

Oh, and Gina, if I hold Miss Hoppy, she'll let Dad give skritches, but right now I'm guessing she'll be avoiding being picked up for the rest of the day! He gives them by telephone sometimes. I just called Dad to update him, and he's also glad of the diagnosis.

I am glad that it is the more treatable thymoma. But did they speculate what that lump on her side could have been?

Many more prayers for a successful tratment.

He said there was a possibility that the lump on her side was just a harmless fatty tumor, but that's why HE - the vet - was anxious to get the test results back. I have told everyone at Tufts that people all over the world are praying for my bunny, so that might have hinted at how special she is, but I think Dr. Mayer is just a bunny person - and he has a little boy bunny that looks a lot like Miss Hoppy, too!

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.

Karen, I'm so glad to hear it's "just" the thymoma miss Hoppy has, and that she's feeling perkier again. The palliative radiation treatment seems to be the right choice for her.

You have been very thorough, and it's good the vet is so skilled, and a bunny lover as well.

Fister and I are sending lots of good thoughts for a succesful treatment and gentle nose kisses to miss Hoppy.

Big hugs to you and Paul!
