Thread: Premature Labor scare!

    In my pregnancy class there was a woman who went on medication for premature contractions. They started for her very early in the pregnancy and the dr just wanted her to get to 34 weeks. They ended up having to induce her at full term because she didn't end up in early labor. (They induced due to gestational diabetes, they didn't want her to go too long.)

    If the dr tells you that you need bed rest then rest, your health and the baby's is definitely more important than work!!!

    Thanks for your kind words! The only problem Im having with the medication is that it tends to make me overly tired and my reaction time is a bit slower.

    The goal is to get to 36 weeks. After that, its anyones guess .
