"Do or do not. There is no try." -- Yoda
Miss Hoppy and I just got home from her ultrasound/biopsy. She's still a little woozy, as they gave her a wee bit of Vallium so she wouldn't be scared of the oxygen mask. She's got a shaved patch on her side, which makes us realize how much of her size is fur!
We will not get the biopsy results until tomorrow. Dr. Mayer is afraid it might be the lymphoma, as when they were shaving her side, they found a lump, and he's worried it might be a lymph gland that's also affected. Hopefully it's not, as the thymic lymphoma is more difficult to treat than a simple thymoma. But we are not jumping to conclusions, and will see what he says when he calls tomorrow. There's a chance the labs won't be done tomorrow, but he did rush the slides to them, hoping for an answer sooner rather than later.
Thanks everyone for your prayers, when we know more, I will let you know, I promise.
We will send extra prayers out for her tests to the least of the 2! Hope she feels less woozy soon.
Merry Holidays to One an All Blessed be
Miss Hoppy, Karen, and Paul, I send you prayers and good thoughts. I hope the biopsy comes back with good news.

I delived the bunny treat on your behalf. She actually LIKES Dr. Mayer, her Tufts vet, but he is mindful that her little heart is working overhard right now anyway because of the tumor pressing on it. I cannot vouch for the safety of anyone else's fingers, though, and I know there were others involved in the process. She was perky for the treat, and seems back to "normal" except for the shaved patch on her side - and no, no pictures of that, she's embarrassed enough, thank you!Originally Posted by Cinder & Smoke
