    Awwwwww............thank you all! Too many candles to count, for sure, Phred!!!! 45!

    It is a good day and I appreciate all of your special notes. Ben and I had a spectacular walk this morning with our friend, Sherry, and her Lab, Bailey. And I got a special gift from my daughter, Helen, this morning, too. Scott called and told me to be home at lunchtime and there was a special delivery of a dozen red roses, from him. I'm working, but also enjoying the day. Helen has a volleyball game tonight, against their toughest rival, Eastside High School. I told her if they could win, or at least play well, that would be a great birthday gift for me!

    I've gotten lots of cards and emails from some of my favorite people, plus your precious messages. What a special birthday!!!
