We wandered about half-way up the glacier. Just FYI Glaciers are slippery and it hurts when you fall and hit into a rock.

"This is my kind of water!"

Who's that idiot standing on a glacier dressed for summer? (bad pic)

    *Ugliness warning* (bad pic again)

Nebo in the little shelter we called home for a night last summer

Above the lake and the pretty pathetic glacier...it was much larger last year

    Mountain goats near the lake

Nebo fell asleep while we were waiting for Lady's owner to find her again (she kept wandering off)

Amy, thank you so much for "taking" me on the hike with you!

What's the story about the little shelter you stayed in for a night last summer? Was it planned that you were going to stay in it or did you not have a choice?!?! Please tell!!
The pic of Bebo sleeping is priceless!

I LOVE this picture... the way his foot is out in front on the rock.

YIKES! One false move and your a gonner!

Angie, see this thread http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/show...ght=timpanogos We planned to spend the night up there, we took a tent. Hauling all that stuff up there is way too much effort but it was amazing to watch the sunrise from up there.

Wow! That looks like alot of fun, as I love hiking and especially watching wildlife. I really doubt though that Roscoe, our Miniature American Eskimo, would do that, as he gets very tired after a long walk and will force us to carry him Anyways, Nebo, Lady, and Travi are all gorgeous!

All I can do is ditto what Anna says.

The three dogs are so pretty. What awesome pictures. Since I am a single lady now I swear that when I get some vacation time built up and a little money saved I am going to take off and head your way. I am just itching to come visit you and go hiking with you and see that gogeous part of the country. To get to hang out with you, the pups and see that wonderful scenery would be one special treat for me.

Hugs for you and the pups!
