Gosh we can open persimmon seeds and see what sort of winter we are going to have. That's what our weathermen use, I swear! (moff crosses fingers)
Let's see: a spoon shape means, snow, a knife shape means a cold winter, and a fork means a mild one. (I think)

I heard on the news that the Old Farmers' Almanac is saying that 2008 is going to be a warmer than average winter -- so I wonder what that translates to in persimmon seed-speak?

lbaker, I LOVE mayo on French fries! I worked with a nurse who grew up in Wyoming and she got me started on that. Also mayo with just a little catsup mixed in. I don't eat French fries too often anymore, with or without the mayo.

C'sMom.. saw a lot of the mayo w/ fries in The Netherlands but never tried it myself. I'll stick to fries with vinager (boardwalk style). And don't worry about the bees - I always have my bee kit (deadly allergic myself). Besides, this is Thursdays and no bugs allowed
~ at least I'm not...
