Thanks for the update. I hope that Miss Hoppy's tumor won't continue to grow and get any larger. She'll remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Karen, I will be keeping you, Paul and Miss Hoppy in my thoughts. It's amazing how those little creatures just grab onto your heart and you just fall in love with every aspect. Assuming Miss Hoppy is anything like my bunnies I'm sure she is a feisty, opinionated gal. All the feistness and zest for life they have makes every moment spent with them something truly special. I hope that Miss Hoppy will continue to live happy and healthy with you for many more years.
(((hugs)))

I'll continue to keep Miss Hoppy in my prayers, Karen. Hope that old tumor stays the same size, and doesn't grow anymore.

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!
I hope our adorable little mascot stays just the way she is for a while yet. We will send all our positive thoughts her way.
I'll continue to keep Miss Hoppy in my prayers!
Thanks, everyone. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
Karen - I am glad that the tumor is not an active type and that she does not even know that anything is wrong with her! I am hoping that you have lots and lots more time with Miss Hoppy!
Hoping miss Hoppy has many more happy years I definetely think you are doing the right thing, no need to put her through all that and risk her life at the same time.
don't breed or buy while shelter dogs die....
I have been frosted!
Thanks Kfamr for the signature!
Could we request Miss Hoppy pics? You know we'd love to see some.
I'll see if I can dig up some you haven't seen.Originally Posted by dukedogsmom

The fur in those spots is growing back, from her cleaning that nasty awful stuff off so vigorously, but she's not her prettiest at the moment. One doesn't realize how much of her is fur, until a little patch of it is gone! Remind me in a couple weeks, okay?
Not that she's ever a willing photographer's model!
Thinking of you and Miss Hoppy! I hope you have many more happy years with her!
Hug and kiss her for us, please. I'm glad she doesn't face a major surgery. She needs to live out her life, just like she always has, Karen, with love and dignity. And lots of Parsley and Carrots, for sure!!!!!!
Love and prayers.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I will - she now has an appointment at Tufts Veterinary on Saturday. The other vet she sometimes sees at our vet's office called, and sometimes they can do radiation on a thymoma to shrink it so the pressue is less on the heart, and so the bunny can breathe better. We'll see, Saturday, what it involves, how uncomfortable it is, and if they even would reccomend it for a ten-year-old little bunny.
The intern at Tufts started a "chart" to make the appointment. Name, age - those we got down. Breed - well, "Maybe a Netherland Dwarf/Rex mix? We don't really know, but she's bigger than a ND, and has bigger ears, but smaller than a Rex, and has smaller ears than they do ..."
