I am so sorry about this. We'll know you will do everything you can for her, and whatever choice you make, it will be the right one and you'll consider her quality of life. (((hugs)))

I am still praying for you Tango. Giant ((hugs)) and **kisses** coming your way sweetheart.

    Dear God,
I ask you to be with Tango in her time of need, lay a healing hand upon her and ease her pain. I ask that you be with the vets tomorrow, help them find what is causing her pain and help guide their hands to correct the problem. Please comfort her family and allow them to feel all the love that their PT friends have for them and the prayers that we are all sending their way. Sometimes Lord we have to make the decision that you have laid upon us and allow our babies to go to the Rainbow Bridge, only you know if this is Tango's time. If it is please comfort her family and help them through that most difficult decision for they love their baby girl and will only do what is best for her. But I pray with all my heart that this is not the case, not now...that she will be better because anything is possible through you.
I pray all these things in Jesus' name.
    Amen.

Such a sweet, sweet face... I'll be keeping Tango in my thoughts and prayers. I hope there is something the vet's can do to ease her pain, while also repairing her injuries.

Big hugs to Tango... get better sweetie!

Poor Tango, I hope they are able to give her some meds to relieve the pain tonight. My heart goes out to you, this is so sudden. Perhaps tomorrow you will know more after what the tests reveal. I'm so sorry she's ill. She's a strong girl, though, (((hugs))) to you and your precious girl.

That sweet face doesn't deserve such pain - I hope something can be done to make her more comfortable. What a heart-breaking day for you.

I am hoping for the very best outcome for your baby girl Tango and sending lots of hugs and prayers your way.

Lots of thoughts and prayers coming your way.

This winter, my BIL's dog, a beagle mix slipped two discs in his back and had to have surgery. He has been doing wonderful since and although he has a slight limp when he gets tired, he is playful and energetic as ever. I wish the same sort of success and recovery for Tango.

Major LES now. You and your family will be in my thoughts through this difficult time.

Devan, can they give Tango steroids to reduce the inflammation to the disc that is slipped? (I'm a nurse) And something for pain? An acquaintance on the other pet forum I read has a dog that had back problems and made a terrific recovery with steroids, pain meds, and antibiotics. It was not a fast recovery by any means though. Please let us know what the myelogram shows. Thoughts and prayers for Tango.

Edited to add: I went to gratefulness.org this morning and lit a cyber-candle for Tango

Think positive. Maybe she won't even need surgery. And if she does it could work out fine. Autumn and Buster have both slipped discs. You can get her a doggie wheelchair if she's in no pain but doesn't recover her walking. The one thing that comes to mind right now is her nerves not coming back as well after such a wait. But positive thoughts are what we need to send for Tango right now.

I'm so very sorry to see this about Tango! It was hard enough to see my AnnaBelle paralyzed after she ruptured a disc, but at least she wasn't in any pain! It must be awful knowing that Tango is hurting too! I hope that is a good sign though, that maybe she won't lose all of her feeling and will improve!

Oh God I'm at a loss for words. I'm hoping that it's one slipped disc and that she'll be able to recuperate fully. I know a lot of breeds can get slipped discs, but I never realized how serious it could get and how much pain it can put a pup in I'm so sorry; miracles do happen, though, and I *know* Tango will make it through even brighter and better than before!
