Oh no! I just got back from a long weekend, and I am just seeing this. I hope that the reason you haven't been able to update is because you are working with your little girl and helping her to get stronger and heal faster. I am so so sorry. Okay, I am off to say some very serious prayers for our special girl.

I apologize for taking so long to update you guys. We spent about 2 hours at our vet, and then had to go see a back surgery specialist, and we sat there for about 3 hours waiting to go into our consultation. She's staying overnight at our vet and then we're going to get some sort of test done on her tomorrow morning (A mylogram I think it was called, but am not sure). We would have gotten that done today, but they said that we'd have to wait until tomorrow. We don't know what the outcome will be as of yet. We can put her through surgery, but the vet/specialist said it's doubtful that she'll be able to run, jump, and play properly again (and that is her life - it's all she lives for). Currently all we know is that she's slipped at least one disc, maybe blew another. The X-ray couldn't show a whole lot. I'll definitely update again once I know more. She's in a ton of pain right now (which means there is probably something else going on - because if she was simply paralyzed, she wouldn't be able to feel much). She bit my mom, our vet, and my dad today. Something she'd never even think about doing normally. Oh, and our vet thinks it's partly herditary and because she's such an active, energetic dog, she could have easily done it by chasing her ball like she normally does.

Thankyou for all of your well wishes and such. They mean a lot to me.

ETA: Here are two pictures I took of her earlier:

We're going to do absolutely everything we can for her, and give her the best chance possible.

    Oh no!!! Poor Tango.

Would water physical therapy be an option?

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.
