I really like Karen's note idea. It might feel good to actually DO something rather than try to ignore it and feel hurt and angry inside. When I was a young snot, I probably would have said something similar If nothing else, the note could be a slight nudge to one or both of the girls to grow up a bit! You will win out, see?
