Thanks again for the marvelous birthday wishes!

Court went well. The judge was super nice and I felt at ease with her, though I was still incredibly nervous. The guy who's suing us told his story, then I told ours (hubby wisely kept his mouth shut ). The judge told me she didn't need to see my proof, that she believed me. She asked the guy a few more questions and asked me if I had anything further to say. Then she said she'll research it and both parties will hear within 5 days via mail who won the case. On her way out the door she said somebody always is disappointed with the ruling and we can always appeal if we lose. From talking to other people who were in similar cases, we might lose this first trial but WILL win in appeal. So we'll see.

All in all, it was a 2 and a half hour drive both ways (5 hours on the road total) for a 10 minute appearance in court. I think we waited in the waiting room longer than we were in the court room. LOL

I came home, crashed for a two hour nap and woke up looking for my birthday cake. A certain few people forgot to get me a cake!!! but I did get a few cute cards, so its all good
