Exactly. I wouldn't wait around online looking for answers before contacting my vet. I would schedule an appointment and THEN look up any information I could find while I waited for the appointment.

ok i apperciate the ones that gave me postive feedback to those that were just saying call your vet...I HAD an appointment with my vet i was just surfing around to see if maybe anyone else was familiar with this..I did go to vet on tues. monday was a holiday so i couldn't take them, but so those people know i did have an appointment i was more hoping to get alittle comfort of knowing some insight of what was going on, to take alittle fear away. To those interested the vet said it seemed mommy was being alittle careless when walking around them and they had a little absess. I wished i could say i don't feel like some of you were jumping on me and not even asking if i was going to the vet but i did. I love my pets and would never ask advice about them without knowing they were going to the vet.......Trust me i had no intentions of just getting advice from here. from one petlover to another i thought i could get comfort and not stone throwing.

I'm glad everythings ok..and i'm sorry you took or replies the wrong way, we had no way of knowing that you had called your vet, as you didn't mention anything about it in your post. We weren't throwing stones at you, honest Once again, glad everything is ok!

thank you for the welcome (Dane too) I was scared but relieved it was nothing serious...no i have a long rd ahead of me b/c i get to bottle feed 8 puppies ;D
thank you again sasvermont for your response. I love all animals as well and hope to meet more of you and see what everyone else has to say here.
The mommy of the puppies is a pitbull that had came to home abused and so skinny and we took her in and here not long after we have our budles of joy...no clue what daddy was but looking at the pups maybe aussie shepard. She has been such a good dog no matter her breed. shes the first pure pit i have ever own and you can tell she wasn't taught well but still shes my joy.

Most puppies can lap gruel by 3 weeks, so you won't have a really long time of bottle feeding.

Best of luck getting them raised. Be VERY CAREFUL. If she is stepping on them, once they start getting more mobile it becomes more dangerous instead of less with careless bitches.

And of course we need PHOTOS!!!
