Thanks everyone! We had so much fun romping around the Yukon.
elizabethann - Cruise certainly did have some typical signs of old age, however I was shocked the way he climbed that mountain! If you mulitply it out, Cruise is what, 105 in humans years? I hope I can still climb mountain at 105, lol. Everyone does age slower here in Alaska, Gail (the women I went with, Cruise and Day's mom) is 83. No way rightI'm not lieing to you. There is something about this place where everyone looks 20 years younger then they are. It's joke between my friends and I that if you look at a resident and say they look so old, add 20 years and you have there real age.
I'm still having so much fun. I've recently beeing kayaking, hiking and catching wild eagles. Who could ask for a more interesting life? However I am terribly home sick and just thinking about home makes me want to be there now. I'm terribly torn though, because I'm not ready for all of this to be over, I just miss my family and friends like crazy. I find the biggest reason I want to be home is to see Nova and Konnor. I just want to be home with them again. This trip has made me realize many things about myself, one of them is that I could never live without a dog by my side.Originally Posted by cyber-sibes

I don't know what to expect when I walk through the door. I don't know if they will greet me like it's been 10 million years like they usually do or if they will greet me like they greet one of my other family members when they have been gone for awhile.
I come home on the 27th. 23 more days.
