This has been one of the hardest fought battles I have even witnessed. Becky you fought every bit as hard as Thumper and maybe even more. I can't imagine what this journey has been like for you all. I have followed the entire time and never knew what to say. You have done everything humanly possible for Thumper and then some. Now is time to show the final act of love, the most compassionate and truest act you can give to Thumper. You are letting her be a peace as much as it hurts you to do so. May her passing be easy and swift.

Fly on the wings of angels Thumper. You fought long and hard and it it now your time to rest and be pain-free. Be a healthy happy kitty once more and watch over your meowmie who loves you so much.

Her passing was peaceful. I held her while the sleeping shot worked but couldnt stay for the final shot.
Bless my good friend who took me this morning. I also went to the crematory and saw the beautiful craved wooden box, I picked out.
My vet was going to take her over there this afternoon. What a kind man

This was my first experience with PTS. RB Butterscotch died naturaly at home.

We gave it a good fight. I'm happy she is playing hard at the RB Bridge.

Dear Becky;

I couldn't post earlier due to major LES.

I am so sorry that your precious Thumper has passed on. She was such a special and brave girl. You and your hubby, forgive me but his name escapes me right now, did more for her than anyone I know would have.
Thumper put up a good fight. She was well loved and will never be forgotten.
It was very hard for me to see her pictures, but then it got to a point where I would see past her tumor and just see that sweet loving face of hers. She was a sweetheart that's for sure.

I pray and hope that you find comfort and peace in the fond memories you made together.

Rest in Peace dear brave Thumper. I will never forget you.

The vet's office just called this afternoon and her remains are ready for us to pick up. So we are going up shortly to bring her home The box I choice is beautiful wood carved. Here's a photo of it from the pet site. This photo doesnt do it justice, in person it's way more beautiful.
