    Let's see....

Why are the Democrats so eager for this senator to resign his 'seat'?

I have to pass on the punchline-IT's funny and dirty.

... the esteemed speaker of the house-the politician that has led the congress to a 14 percent approval rating
Perhaps R...you could make some jokes about the low approval of congress having SOMETHING to do with these guys who lust after underage boys....solicit sex in the men's room...hire hookers..and generally behave in an unsavory manner????

    Hokay,

Why are the Democrats so eager for this senator to resign his 'seat'?
Because the next guy 'in' may be one of their own!

    ------

I can't comment on underage boys, I happen to like mature, robust women.

While yes there are perverts, thiefs and unsavory characters in Congress-I happen to loathe people who promise 5 day work weeks, 100 hours of fixing things and desire bigger airplanes. I guess you can't trust anyone these days.

I just happened to notice that the Lowest Approval Rating happened to dip when the new SOTH came in!

    Coincidence?

And the reason I can't care about the Honorable ------ from ---------- is that they don't represent me. I can't vote them out, so I may as well laugh at them!

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

    Funny is kinda selective.

I have a problem with any politico that speaks out of both sides of his mouth.

What gets me is the fact that "he doth protest too much".

When I see any politician that has an agenda, in this case all the anti-gay rhetoric this moron has spewed, I get suspicious.

When a pol has a 'cause de jour' it's all meant to hide his real ideals.

    ----

The funny in this story is the fact that he was so cavalier about the incident-he'll never admit he's gay...so if the people were dumb enough to keep voting him in after what happened in the '80s, they deserve what they got.
