I'm sorry you have to rehome your bunny. I am glad you found her such a good home. I am sure Kishii will love it there.

Everyone you don't know how much your words mean to me. Today I went to church and put Kishii in the car with the guy taking her, and I could tell she was going to be just fine. He was holding her and she wasn't scared, and when she was put in the car, she just started cleaning herself lol. So that makes me really happy.
And I will be going up there to see her in october, the guy that took her lives just a few minutes away from where my horse is boarding. I found out that he is going to keep her in the house with him, at least for the winter anyway, and that he likes her so much that she may be a house bunny, since I have her already litter trained.Very good news for me, so I feel good as to where she is.
Bye Kishii you had a great home with your mommy! Sounds like Kishii will have another great home with her new owner, it's really good that you get to viset Kishii because she's not too far away, I bet Kishii will adore seeing other rabbits and exploring the new enviorment. Very cute photos. ^ ^
A hard thing to do, but I've no doubt that you've done the best thing for Kishii. I totally understand the whole not bonding thing - it sounds silly, but it does exist. I lost a very dear rabbit who I loved with all my heart, she followed me everywhere, licked my nose and was always pleased to see me. Sadly she passed away and our other bunny (Millie) started to pine for her. She stopped eating, drinking and was extremely miserable. Our vet recommended trying to pair her with another bunny as Millie was still a young bun herself. So reluctantly we began searching for the perfect bunny and eventually we fell in love with a Lionhead (Sweetpea). 3 years later, the two bunnies are not together as Millie was having none of it. Sweetpea herself developed quite a nasty streak towards us to the point that we couldn't feed her properly as she would attack us and god help us when we tried to get her out of her home for a run in the garden or to clean her home. The vet put it down to hormones (!!) so we had her spayed and thankfully she has calmed down loads.....however, I still don't feel particularly close to her as I feel like she was a replacement for my dear rabbit. Don't get me wrong, I love her to bits and she still gets lots of attention but maybe not as much as Millie?

Kittycats_delight (Michelle) thanks for the great signature!
Thanks ArgranadeAnd thanks also very much Babyboonie, I completely understand what you are saying. I got to talk to the guy at the evening service last night, and Kishii is settling right in, and he just seems so excited to have her
I'm happy to know that she is comfortable
