    Here he is Ryu!!!!

Here is a pic for all to enjoy Ryu ( this is the correct spelling....mike says ). First the name he was given for a character on the video game "street fighter."

Now for how he is doing most of the whinning has stopped when mike is home. when he is not he still whines but is getting better.
called the former vet (ours and his) to see when he last saw Ryu. 1997!!!!!!! This moron asked the neighbor mike works with to give him our phone number. Because and I quote " I may want him back and need to know where to find him. the co-worker of mike's said to go to h***. he would never see the dog again and that was final. Mike said that he could give him our number. So Mike could tell him just what he thought of him.

I do not think that we are going to rehome him, Mike has fallen for him. (I am so lucky my husband is a sucker for dogs in need) This means that he will stay and become one of mike's special companions. Let's see that list is about 17 dogs long not counting the one's at the bridge. if it were including all of his dogs at the bridge he would have 25 dogs and 10 cats. so the list is not so exclusive....lol.

    here is the pic.

Molly, somehow, I didn't see this thread till today! I am so glad that Ryu is in your hands now. I know that he will be safe. He looks so precious. I know that with your TLC he will flourish and be as good as new, confidence restored and all.

OMGoodness! Ryu is gorgeous!!! I can see that he has settled in quite nicely! He has taken over your couch and taken over your hearts. That's what any respectable GSD would do!! LOL

Congratulations!! Mike knows how to pick 'em and Ryu sure does, too!! Good luck with him. I am glad that you decided to keep him.

Said it before and I'll say it again... ANGELS! both of ya.

And be sure to give that moron a piece of our mind. Loser.

Potty training is great he has had only 2 accidents and has not had one since. the second day. Rinny on the other hand is a different story but most of it is due to spraying and not urinating.

but on thursday that should start to subside and hopefully with in three weeks end all together although he has not done it as of late after mike worked with him. but my trees and shrubs are being attacked daily.

I just talked to Mike and he took Ryu to Petsmart and said he was awesome in the car, so they stopped at Burger King and got a hamburger. He's just totally enamored with this dog...it's pretty funny to watch. Not only that, but he's deserting me tomorrow and I have 2 dogs to take (Max and Ryu) to the vet and then pick up Rinny, which means that I have to get 3 dogs back in the house when I get home...I'm going to kill my husband!! lol j/k.

Those rescued GSDs sure know how to worm their way into your heart!! Good luck at the vet!! I have a hard time getting Killian into the Suburban without Shiloh. I can't imagine how hard it is for you!!! Good luck and let us know how it goes.

    Ryu update!!!

Dr. B says his heart sounds very good, but he does have fleas...oh goody. He doesn't think he has HD, and said we'll keep a close watch on him and probably start him on G & C treatments to see it that helps. He rides beautifully in the car too.
