    Hi, Gina.

I think you said someone is coming in - twice a day?

I am trying to remember if this is a physio person. I hope it is and the therapy is helping a bit.

When I came out of surgery, my appetite was shot for a few weeks! I had to think of food as another medicine so I wouldn't get unhealthy from not eating - at the very time my body needed to heal!

it was physical therapist that suppose to come in once a day every other day. but since the condition I was/am in, he can't come due to doctor's order until we can do much with my knee or until I am better.

the thing is, the person I've beem staying with, we've been fighting since I got here. I can't speak when I hold my crutches (hands to sign while walking with crutches). people here telling me what I should do or not, that I shouldn't really take pain killers. I am NOT able to heal or mend and it sickens me.. I can't drive yet but if my thunder and keys are here, I'd leave in a heartbeat and just go... somewhere. not that anybody can help me here.

why did I came here, you ask? I didn't really had a choice and thought it'd be be torelable. I can't hold anymore tears. I keep wishing I didn't make it in the accident. at least a little I am hoping I still can go home.
rest and sleep softly sweet locke..

Gina - I hope you find another place to stay...is there maybe a part of the hospital that is more 'homey' and less stark?

In any case, I thought of this for you, and it is really beautiful...I hope it will soothe your mind a bit:

Gina's not at the hospital now, Catty.

Folks if you could keep Gina in your prayers tonight, she's feeling really low and discouraged on many fronts, and could use your prayers and support right about now.

Karen - I know she is not at the hospital...I just wondered, if there was no where else for her to go, if there was a part of the hospital that was less stark and more homey than where she was. More like a care 'residence'.

My prayers are sure with her. I hope the link eases her mind even for a minute - it's called Women in Art.

She'd have to have medical coverage for something like that, or pay out of pocket. Not sure how it is in Canada, but hospitals in the US kick you out as soon as you or better, or before if they can. It all depends on your insurance coverage. It's been getting worse and worse with hospitals and people being let go before they are well enough.
