    Thanks everyone!

We're pretty sure Jack will grow on Star, he's a very lovable & sweet boy. She doesn't seem nearly so depressed, and is eating again. He is delightful, loves to race around and play, follows me everywhere, and he's just a really good boy. He loves attention, has been great with people, dogs & kids we've met out walking, and he doesn't seem to notice Star's attitude. He just plops right down next to her. Maybe her grumpyness is just for our benefit, I think she kind of likes having him around.

Angie, Jack has a thing for sleeping upside down stretched along the wall. Sue (first mom) said all their huskies like to sleep upside down! Mine like sleeping with their heads hanging off the dog bed lower than their bodies, too.

Robin, Sherman and Jack are from the same breeder/kennel. We were so pleased to be able to get Jack, he feels like a "family" connection. I also got to see Sherman's mom, dad, & sis while I was there.

Kimlovescats: yup, gotta have a minimum 6' fence with these guys!

I took this a little bit ago, I like the lighting - he was looking out the front window:

I love that last shot, he looks so intent on something outside. Not that all the pictures weren't great. Couldn't help laughing at the look on Star's face with laid back ears...she did look angry...lol.

Star, sweetie girl, I'm thinking you've got a new little brother there for KEEPS! But you can keep reminding yourself: I am woman, hear me woo...

Star, I'm looking again at the pictures of you and Jack your Hu-Mom posted. He is one adorable puppyhead! And you are fluffily, beautifully gorgeous as always.

    Sorry I missed these earlier!

I'm sure Jack will grow on Star too, and they'll be good friends in no time. They're both beautiful. Jack looks like quite a character!

    Wooos, Angie,
it is easier to get along now because I just avoid him. I hide behind mom's chair & desk when she works, I go sleep in a different room than he's in. I go to the other side of the tables & furniture. I go to the opposite end of the yard. The only time I really can't avoid him is when we go for walks, and then I linger & sniff a lot while he pulls straignt ahead. He steals my toy, I steal his & play with it till he gets back. He takes my favorite spot, I find a new one. He's in my way, I stay out of his. I am old enough to know that none of these things are worth fighting over.

If what you had asked me, "Star, are you less bored?" then Yes, avoiding him gives me something to do with my time. Watching him is more interesting than watching inanimate objects. And I'm motivated to eat my food now.

If what you meant to ask was "Star, are you any happier?" then the answer is No, not really.
    I miss Sherman.

    ~Star
