Laura, I'm so sorry to hear this.Many years ago before I even joined PT, my RB Pepper also stopped eating and he also lost a lot of weight and he developed fatty liver disease. My vet kept him for about a week and they were able to force feed him and he made a full recovery. A few weeks went by and then he stopped eating again. I also noticed that he began to strain in the litterbox. He wasn't blocked but he was constipated and the vets had told me that he was also this way before. This may have been the reason why he stopped eating in the first place. He was then put on lactulose. This helped him and he never had this problem again.
I sure hope that Corkscrew will start eating again and will make a full recovery. He'll remain in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care. (((HUGS)))
