Problems with Flea protection

The head vet (my boss) won't allow us to sell K9 Advantix for the simple reason of the Peretherins (sp?) alone, he doesn't believe they are a safe product.

I've used Frontline for years (ticks were a big problem when we lived on the Mississippi), but did try K9 Advantix. Only for 1 month - Star got horrible skin "burns" at every point the drops touched her skin. (they suggest placing very small drops along the spine.) I'm still using Frontline (now we live with Lyme disease-bearing ticks). thanks for the info.
