    How many parents are now going to be of the same mind and make these guys millionaires because they want their children to be safe!!!!

    If you think that your kid needs a BP backpack you are pretty paranoid.

    If you can afford the 175, you probably live in an area where you ain't gonna get shot.

    Some stupid arse kids will try to see if the pack is indeed, bulletproof.

    Nothing is "bulletproof".

    A regular pack with your books inside probably offers just as much protection.


    And while your kid huddles behind his fourth grade math hoimework inside the pack. the gunman will walk up and put a slug into the unprotected areas of their bodies.

    They are catering to paranoia and giving parents a false sense of well being.

    Better that "Bullet Proofedness"?

    I wore a bullet proof vest when I was an Auxiliary State Trooper. They are NOT fun. Not only do they weigh alot and are cumbersome, but they will not stop a bullet that's aimed at the head.

    You're right, they probably ARE living in an affluent area where they can afford $175.

    The fact that they feel the need for one is very sad.
