Woah he didnt touch the baby bird! I dont think Ive ever hear of a cat resisting that!
The only thing Ive been able to teach Piko is to meow. xD

I made a toy for Piko, becuase I havent gotten a chance to go to the petshop to get a toy. Its basiclly just a crude imitation of a Cat dancer, and I dip the end in catnip. He goes CRAZY for it!
I dont really get to play with him much though, he tires very fast because of the hot weather and his thick fur.

Okay well Ive been working on calming Piko down a bit.
Ive been playing with him, pampering him, giving him treats when he purrs and is nice, stuff like that you know?

When he bites I tap him lightly on the nose and say 'No' as menacingly as I can (not yelling), and then walking away.
Problem with the walking away thing, is that he goes for your ankles, and you cant ignore him, because it HURTS!
He takes the walking away as an invitation to chase! :C

Ive been telling my parents and my brother to just walk away when he bites and scratches, and sometimes they listen. But most of the time they just tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about, and continue right with it. Ha ha, its sucks being the youngest in the family
Just this morning my mum was playing with Piko and he started biting and scratching, and instead of stopping, she just kept telling Piko to stop bitting and kept on playing with him.
This cat does not understand our language mum, he don't get what your saying! D:<

I think Im gonna have to discipline my parents before the cat.
    But Im getting there.
Sorry for this looooooong boring and pointless post.

We'll see how Piko is doing a month from now...

Show your parents this thread. Or Google some information and show them that.

Then it's not 'the youngest' telling them something!

    Piko is SOOOO gorgeous!
