New Addition! [3 Pictures]

Hi everyone! I haven't been around much lately because my summer suddenly became very busy for a very good reason...

I'm leasing a horse! (I also worked teaching horse camp for a month, but that isn't as exciting )

His name is Sobie and he is a 15 year old warmblood. He is almost 18 hands and is the biggest horse at the barn. (It is easy to find him while he's in turnout, I just look for the horse towering over all the other horses!)

I have a few pictures of him that my mom took today. They didn't turn out that great, so I'll try to take more next week. (Sorry for the odd sizes, I cut myself out of the first two pictures)

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! *tackles* I'm so excited for you! Horses are the absolute most amazing creatures ever! And my gosh he's gorgeous! Hehe. I love his name, too. And nearly 18 hh. Holy smokes! My horse is looking smaller and smaller all the time. I hope to see some more {Read as thousands more} pictures of this handsome boy. Congrats and good luck with him.

Don't worry, I'll make sure to get tons of pictures of him! I'm hoping my cousin will want to come meet him and take some pictures since he is a great photographer.

Sobie felt HUGE the first time I rode him. He doesn't feel as big anymore. He is so comfortable to ride; his back is like a big couch! I rode a large pony/small horse in my lesson last week since Sobie had the day off and I felt like my legs were almost touching the ground!

I had a lesson yesterday and Sobie was so good. Just after we finished the jump course for the second time he threw his shoe! It was the third one this week. Luckily the farrier was coming today since his owner is bringing him to a show this weekend.

My mom couldn't get any pictures of him while I was riding because it was raining. It poured during the first five minutes of our lesson and we were both soaked for the rest of it.

Hopefully the weather will be better next week and I'll be able to post more pictures.

I want to go see him at the show this weekend, but it is over an hour away and I don't have a ride. I can't wait until next year when I get to show him!
