Thanks, folks - she's still got several days in the hospital, and we're all praying the blood thinners work and those clots in her right thigh dissolve for good - that's the most dangerous thing right now, and why she's not allowed to move. She said, when telling me that she's promised to follow the doctor's orders to the letter, that she does want to be able to walk normally again, and to run and to dance - all of these require a functional knee, of course.

And I did ask, Terry, if when they allowed her to go home they'd give her a walker this time, but they aren't even thinking that far ahead yet. I forgot to mention in my last post that her fever has gone down, probably why she feels much more alive today, but they are watching that closely, too.
