I get knots in my stomack everytime I see pictures of this. Most of you know I work on a boat that runs the Mississippi River and I have seen a lot of bridges from the underside and some I have wondered why they are still open. I will always worry about how many we go under even more now than ever. I have been on a boat up there several times and wonder if I went under that bridge...

Those are some of the best pictures I have seen yet. I may come back and save them.

*Gulp*. Those close-ups send shivers down my spine. I cannot comprehend what a frightening experience it must have been for those involved.

In this day and age of high tech everything, why in the world are our bridges and roads not safe? These pictures sure do tell it all. I continue to pray for all who were affected by this horrible tragedy.
