I don't think that all of Petco's birds come from mills. I wasn't a manager so I didn't know exactly where the birds were purchased from. But I remember when we got Digger, an African Grey parrot. When we got him he was not only very healthy but also very friendly, which I don't think you get friendly birds from a mill, or at least straight out of a mill. He was also handfed, which I don't really think they do at mills. We had to handfeed him several times a day. I remember we all go so attatched to him when we finally sold him a few of the employees cried because we all missed him.
