Mango has now joined the Ranbow of Fishies at the Rainbow Bridge. When you see a particularly red-orange sunset, that'll be him, saying hello, okay?

Poor Mango. They must have really given him a lot of food for him to die like that. Rest in peace Mango.

Thanks everyone... I've been quite upset over this... I was just days away from getting him back His tank is full of water in my new place, I hate seeing it.

All my friends are really really upset. They all disslike Dan right now (long story, but Dan brought that upon himself) & this pushed them all over the edge. Mango had a special place in all their hearts as they loved his crazy personality & his odd looks (Red Devils have a large forehead). They all joked that he held the secrets of the Universe with that big forehead of his

Most of my friends don't understand how much I love my pets, but they see my pain. Joe knew the stress I was under as it was my first night at my new place & then I lost Mango the next morning. So he invited me over to his place for most of Monday. We had a lot of fun.

Karen (I slept on her couch for over a month while I was temp. homeless) doesn't understand the loss of a fish, but I don't take any offence to it... She was really upset & said don't you worry I'll get you another Red Devil to put in the tank. I said I don't like to get replacements, so I never buy the same breed. She said ok, I understand, how about a Pirahna?? My sister has several & they are all 8 months old. Would that be ok? I said yes as I didn't want to offend her. A pirahna is the same kind of fish, so I have all the food & proper tank size.

Gio wanted to get me all kinds of little fish to put into the tank. I might let the guys get me a big Plecko if they are compatible with Pirahna, as I know Pirahna are far far far far more calm then Red Devils.

I'm so sorry to hear about Mango. How big of a fish was he? In the pics his coloring was gorgeous. I'd be so upset with the fishsitter as well.

Big hugs to you... whether it is a fish, a cat or a horse, it's a pet, and the grief is the same.
