To those of you who said that Dakota is a Harlequin Great Dane, you were right. Yes, Brian and I are very happy and proud owners, or parents should I say! She's great to have around and great to share the days with. I can't believe that she's gotten so big. We got her at six weeks, and this coming Sunday she'll be 18 weeks. I'm sure she weighs a good 50-60 pounds by now because she weighed 46.1 when she went to the vet on Sept. 16.
Amy, I would love to bring her to meet and visit with her cousin's and everybody in Ohio. But, shais_mom is right, it's a bit of a long trip for us to take on a weekend! Hopefully, we'll get to come some time though so that everybody gets to know my baby too. I'm sure you would all love her more if you met her and knew her crazy personality. I guess she reminds me of Sadie. Yeah, she's adorable, but the personality makes her 10 times better!
Oh yeah, and Dakota would like to thank everybody for all you're compliments. She loves the attention as most dogs do!
