Sugar and Lacey both digg and have major construction going on in their beds to make their nest prior to settling down. Dad often asks if they got the permits for all this construction!

Last night, after the evenng walk, the backyard trips (2) which include chasing the ball, and all the oher routine stuff, I settled in bed to read. Lacey snuggled next to me and then started similar to what you described. I took her out in the back yard (AGAIN!) and she blitzed around in the heat for over FIVE MINUTES! It was just pent up energy and excitement. She is 5 years of age, so not a puppy; but bichons are known for blitzing so I watch for it.
