    Our HS photography class required film cameras.. only cause a big part of the course was learning how to develop, changing the contrast, etc.

    You can usually get pretty cheap manual film cameras from Craigslist.. or even thrift stores.

    Good news For the class I can either get a film camera or a digital that has manual settings. New camera here I come
