Best to you and Joesph. What kind of surgery does he need? I hope all goes well.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. I AM IN SHOCK.
THE VET CALLED AT 9 AS I WAS ON THE COMPUTER UNTIL THEN.
JOSEPHS IN A BAD WAY. HIS MOUTH IS BLOODY AND HIS TEETH ARE RED AND INFECTED. HE WAS NOT HAVING BREATHING PROBLEMS HE WAS SWALLOWING BLOOD.
HE VOMITED ALL OVER THE CAGE AND THERE WAS BLOOD EVERYWHERE.
HES GOING TO EMERGENCY SURGERY THIS MORNING AND I HAVE THE FEELING THAT HE WILL LOOSE HIS TEETH.
    ALL OF THEM.
I AM SHOCKED AS EXCEPT FOR THAT BREATHING AND NOT BEING ABLE TO PICK UP FOOD JOSEPH WAS AS LIVELY AND CHEERFUL AS EVER.

You are GREAT to all your cats! You shouldn't say such things. That's just not true!!! Cats are masters at hiding when they are ill. If there are no symptoms, how are you to know? I hope and pray Joseph is okay. Please, please, please don't balme yourself.

You and all the Found Cats are in my prayers. Please don't beat yourself up. If it wasn't for you, JJJ3 would not have had the last 10 wonderful years. Fingers, paws and whiskers crossed.

Sweet Joseph, we are all praying for you here in RI; feel well quickly little boy!

Gary, it is a FACT that cats are masters at hiding illness. I just went through a terrible time a few months back with Billy. By the time he was showing he idn't feel well it was to late. Many of us here with cats have had similar things happen. We are all trying to do the best we can to help these felines, and you are right up there with helping and looking out for them. Please kep this mind. You are not to blame because as soon as you noticed a problem, you arranged to get him help. THAT is the key, THAT is the GOOD you do! Bless you!
