I was wondering if she ever did make it past 17". I think Dance is going to be about that size too, maybe just a tiny bit bigger.

ooooh, cuteness overload. Those pics were cool. I liked seeing the doggy life vests. I'm glad misty calmed down and was able to master the doggy paddle...none of this flailing and head dunking stuff!

Electra is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever right?
I've often wondered what a Toller does exactly.. It says in the dog books I have that they "lure" the ducks closer so the hunter can shoot them.. also called duck tolling.. But what exactly does that mean? How does the dog do that?

Just thought I'd ask since you have a dog of that breed, so maybe you could explain it for me.

lol, "tolling" it luring yes. basicly the hunter stands in the blind, and throws a stik or or something and the Toller runs out to retrieve it, the playfulness makes the duck curious and they swim closer, this is repeated until the ducks are within range. after the ducks are scared into the air, and the hunter downs some, they then act like any other retriever.
