I know what you mean - one of the dogs we took from them was a Redbone Coonhound - beautiful dog and really sweet - but quite gun shy. We were told that she was probably dumped because of it. Fortunately, she is now living very happily in a town about an hour outside of Buffalo on 4 acres of land. We recently got an email from them at they are just enamored by her.

Imagine coming to an event in another state and being so juvenile that you leave without your dog because it didn't win. Amazes me the stupidity of the human race. And we're supposed to be the superior race - yeah right.
