Phone the town hall office - a lot of places have "e-cycling" programs. You might be able to find it on the town hall website.

They might even come and pick it up!

Okie dokies, just checked the JC website and we have an electronics recycling program. According to my grandpa they'll buy old cellphones and stuff, but cash doesn't matter, I just need to get rid of the printer.
