I agree. EWWWWWW!!!!! I didn't say anything earlier because I didn't want to get rounded on.
Genetic manipulation to improve the breed in one thing, but some of these animals are comfortable UNCOMFORTABLE (it should say) to say the least. I don't even like the pushed in faces of the Persian. Poor babies.
Edit: I meant to say that the critters look like they might me uncomfortable, cold, etc. All for a few bucks or some thrills.

Hey - there are only 14 of these in the world. And that first pic was not the best choice...it is a kitten just a few days old, and ANY kitten that age has closed eyes and hardly any ears showing. This breed looks like a blob at that age.
I am SO glad I went to the site and saw older ones! Much easier to take.
But - I wonder if the breeders would just stop propagating them...they won't because money talks.![]()

I don't care how many of them there are or aren't in the world. To me they're icky, lol.Originally Posted by Catty1

Unless they were naturally created by God this way, I dunno. It looks like a man made thing. I wonder how they hold up health wise.
Jenn - I seem to recall that when the Rex cat first made an appearance, it was an 'accident' of nature. But people tried to create more, and obviously succeeded.
This must be another one....But it's not the kitty's fault, which is the darn thing about it!
Hmm....at least these ones are waterproof!![]()

They look like naked Shar Pei puppies. And like one other person said, the baby in the first picture, it looks like a brain. It's just freaky. I hope that they are very resilient little creatures, and they don't look as fragile as they seem.
The older ones don't really bother me too much, but the babies... those suckers will be giving me nightmares! Nothing against the poor critters themselves, but darn, whoever made them surely didn't do them a favor.
.... see the resemblance??

When I saw the photo at the beginning of this thread (sorry to say this - really bad choice of photo for a first impression!), I was thinking Gollum....
Yoda's complexion was too smooth! lol

Hmmm.... now I liked Gollum!
Maybe Jabba the Hutt??
Mean Jennie... soooo mean!![]()
I thought it looked like a brain too.
I just don't like all the wrinkles on the face and the shinyness.
I'll stick with my hairless cats.
