I have been so darn busy that I haven't even had time to duck in the bar for a badly needed break!

Thought I would slip in for a nightcap - but didn't know that I would "literally"
slip in - what is all of this water doing on the floor?

Long, long day, so I think I will just opt for some ice water too and call it a night.

Sorry, Richard. I've been doing the plumbing hokey pokey.

Now that I have a few minutes, how about setting me up with an Irish and get a moozle for Lady?

    What kinda plumbing?

Hopefully not EMERGENCY plumbing like I did a few weekends ago!

    DONE!

No, just fixing plumbing put in by someone who should have his license to own hand tools revoked. When it takes 30' of copper pipe, 20' of PVC and 100 lbs of concrete to fix a sink there's a problem.

    Consider it done!

(the damned shame of it is that I needed 110 lbs of concrete, but I'll have to fix that tomorrow. That's what I get for ONLY getting 100 lbs)

    Thank you sir,

MY plumbing drama was at four in the morning....I hear water running next door at mom's.....It sounds like the toilet.....I go into her house and look under the BR sink and hear the water running. I touch the shutoff and am greeted with a three foot jet of water....

All in all it turned out alright, I was able to fix it, not bleed and not have any extra parts...

I'd like to propose a toast to This Old House reruns, the right tool at the right time and only two trips to Home Depot.

    Salud!

This was a repair to a sink that was a long time in the making. I disconnected the HW line because it was leaking, and I couldn't get a good solder joint on the "pipe" in the basement.

Then I had to disconnect the drain line.

Now I'm fixing 30 years of half assed plumbing repairs.

That means you have to move in November of 2037.

Ten pounds of concrete on a Saturday isn't that bad.

The family will be excited at the unveiling, you get the credit and the satisfaction of doing it right.

    LOL,

My brother says it's not a job until you bleed.

Our line about that is that if you bleed on it, it's going to work.

    Especially if it's a Ford.

OK, I don't have a clue what you two are talking about....pvc what???

Come on you two. Put down your "tools" and give me a drink. One double BM please.
