    I swear the cere (spot above the beak where the nostrils are found) on my moms Budgies change!!.. When I bought her the first one (white cere) I changed to blue as he matured. I bought her a Green Budgie with a light blue cere and it changed to dark brown as she matured... I think your budgie, Ozzy, will most likely change to be a male (Blue cere) as he matures.. He looks fairly young still.

    So confusing. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens when she/he gets older.
