Please don't be sorry for talking to us about Sherman. I only wish I had PT in my life back in 2005 when we were going through this same thing with DJ.

Sherman did not have a good night. His nights are far worse than his days. Listening to him gasp & choke for hours is almost unbearable. He's trying so hard to be a good boy, and lie very still just so he can breathe.

I contacted Nancy (the pet psychic) and she graciously called me this morning. (I am grateful, as she doesn't generally get right back to people so fast) We spoke for a long time.

I think it's a question of when rather than if. Please pray that we (and especially Sherman) "can accept the things we cannot change". We have been trying to "change the things we can", and now we need "the wisdom to know the difference."

I hate this.

Pat...am I right in sensing that Nancy found that Sherman really loves his family - and is doing all he can to stay? Fighting to be with you.

I am sure you have thought of this...but Sherman might need reassurance that it is okay for him to let go, just as some people do.
