My FELV+ cat was ill and we had made the decision to euthanize him, but the vet tried one more thing--an injection of Vitamin B12 and cortisone. The cat recovered and was healthy for 3 more years. We continued the injections about once every three weeks. When he first recovered, the vet predicted he would live only a few more weeks, but he had three more years of good living.

Bonjour indeed, handsome Deco! Such a fine fellow you are! It made me sad to hear that your early life was not good; I am so sorry to hear that. But thankfully you have a new furrever home and loving meowmie who cares deeply for you.

Your garden sounds lovely and I would love to see you and the chickens racing!! (I figured you would beat them handily ) And, what a wonderful thing to have plenty of mice to catch; you must be very agile.

I will pray for your continued good health so you and your maman can have lots of years together.

I'm so sorry to hear of your serioius health challenges, sweet boy. I too hope that your treatment will be successful, that many, many more happy, carefree days in your mousey garden await you You certainly had a rough start in life Deco but blessedly, you found your way to your devoted Mom, who will assure that for all of your days, you will know nothing but happy days and unconditional love!
