Sherman, we miss you!
Thank you all! It wasn't the day I had hoped for, (but who wants to celebrate those in-between over 50 birthdays anyway?) We ended up pretty much at vets offices all day. First thing this morning, then again this afternoon, and we spent the evening taking Sherman to the Emergency Hospital. (Thread in dog health) The good news is that the vet gave me hope they would be able to help get a good diagnosis there and, they have him on oxygen so he will be more comfortable tonight.
Now I'm going to go have a piece of chocolate cake and give my hubby & Star girl a big hug...

Sorry your Birthday wasn't the Greatest you could imagine; but you DID make some progress
in getting Sherman the treatment he needs ... so that's a "gift" you can enjoy.
And knowing he's sure to feel a bit better with the Oxygen helping his breathing,
maybe you & JoJoe can get a better night's sleep for yourselves.
Anyway, what's another Birfday ... you'll get a crack at it again in another year!

Happy Belated B-Day! My wish for you is that next year you will have something truly wonderful to celebrate and no sad memories. (Other than "The Big Scare.") That it will be VERY fun and glamorous! (Even if that means lounging around in PJ's, pigging out on your favorite foods, and not having to lift a finger in labor all day.)

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.
