OOhhhhhhhhh Chris Meloni - he's my MAN! I am totally in love with him. I keep saying I want to rent the show 'Oz' because I hear he had a few....risqué sceens.....

OMG!!! Chris Meloni in OZ was freaking awesome!!!] He was one of the main reasons I watched it. That and there was male frontal nudity on tv, which is next to impossible to get here in the states, and it was rampant on that show! I figured I'd get my fill of it while they had it on. And of course, after 5-6 seasons, it was off the air...

One thing that I noticed with OZ was that there were a record number of actors on it that were also on Law and Order (SVU, CSI and the original). Watch and it and you'll see.... The old white guy who plays the psychologist was the Aryan leader in OZ. A few of the convicts were vice or other characters on L&O. BD Wong who is the one other psychologist was a priest on there.. There were a ton!!

That's it, I am going out TONIGHT to rent as much of Oz as I can find! L & O SVU is my absolute favorite show (and I love the other ones too), and I didn't realize how many other characters from L&O were on Oz. And that first pic is to DIE for!

Oh, that first pic of Chris is great... but I swear, the show OZ will have you licking your TV screen there are so many topless (and naked shots) of Chris! I noticed early on that the HUGE tat on his one arm is the same on OZ, so I'm guessing that that's actually a real one, and not just used for Law and Order. Would love to see that one closer as well. I know it's a cross, but not sure what else is on there...


I'm surprised it aired in the US to be honest. US films will show some of the most brutal and violence filled films, but not the nudity. I'd rather have the nudity than the violence to be honest. The human body is the human body... I can do without all the brutality though. I mean, we show any shots of women naked on tv, but a man! Oh heavens! We still haven't gotten to equal opportunity, lol, although I'm sure some would say it's just exploitation. I guess it's true, but men really haven't been exploited enough yet, and I think they need to catch up!!

The guy who was on Lost, not sure if he is still/was still on there, he had the kid who made things appear (like that wacky polar bear in the jungle... I really hated that show and only ever saw a few episodes of the first season). Well, that guy, he's a really tall black guy, on OZ he does most of the narration and he's the guy in the wheelchair. He's one of my faves.
