It's so true, though. And lucky for this girl (if this is a true story), that a cop decided to just teach her a good lesson before she gave the wrong information to the wrong person.

You have to be careful who you talk with online, and how much you share!

It not only applies to instant messages. It applies to online forums, especially =/ I know all of us on PT often give out personal information (myself, included), but it's always safer to err on the side of caution. I knew this story wasn't true, but it sends a very important message.

I agree also that it is very important, but sometimes you can meet bestfriends on the internet too that are truely good people. I guess its a hard situation.
