Thanks guys! Allison, I have always loved catfish, especially the tiny species. Personally, I think they are all very cute. Lucky the lady was there though because we almost bought a catfish that grows up to 18 inches! It was a pond fish but he was the same size as the little guy I have now. I like the tetras, but I love my little Otto. I decided to name him Draco since he looks like a miny dragon.

By the way, thanks for the link! It looks like an interesting website.

I hear ya! Gotta love the catfishes! And i'm glad the lady at the store pointed you in the right direction -- most of the plecos and such that are sold at local fish stores and pet stores end up being like the commons -- start out really cute at an inch long (and reasonably inexpensive), and before you know it you've got a monster at more than 12" on your hands!

I've been really into the catfish (and pleco - suckermouth catfish) as well as having fallen in love with loaches lately (i'm a sucker for those Clown Loaches ... so silly!)

Aww, I've always liked neons! Hopefully when a few of my cichlids are out of their growout tanks, I can have a smaller tank for neons. :] Right now my cichlids would eat them right up.
    And again, nice setup!

Thanks! I love Chiclids too. How old are yours? Are you going to put them in a pond? I think those get pretty big. Not as big as Kois, but yeah lol.

None of my cichlids will get big enough for a pond. I have mostly africans, and with the species I have they are from 4"-6". Unsure of the age on some of them, as I bought most of them as adults, but definately all of my africans are over a year old.
I do have one oscar I haven't mentioned yet. =D
He's not in the clear, yet, though. He's a sick little guy, but we're working with him as we rescued him around a week ago. He's at 4" right now, but has the potential to get 12"+. Assuming he makes it, he will be upgraded to a 100g tank or so around the holidays. :]
