Daisy is lucky to have a Guardian like you watching over her all the time!
You are certainly Daisy's guardian angel, no wonder she hangs out with you and your pack so often! She knows she's safe! Pacer is funny, those ears, hahaha. He doesn't even look happy that his feet are getting wet! Silly puppy!

Aw, what a fun day. Ginger thinks we should show Les (parnone) the coyote sniffing shot, because she says Earle has a really cute fluffy butt. And I think Pacer is oh so handsome.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I was reading your narrative. *sigh* Doubt it.Originally Posted by Glacier

Those are great pictures and some very happy puppies! I can't even imagine why someone wouldn't try to rescue their dog.
Wonderful photos. I just love the one of Paxil in the wild roses, though!![]()

First, welcome to PT! Since you are new, you don't know Daisy's story! I'm sure almost any PT poster would do whatever they could to save their dogs. Daisy doesn't have that kind of owner! She isn't abused, not yelled at or hit. She gets decent food and is allowed to sleep in the house. But her owner has no clue that she needs anything more than that. Daisy found a way to meet her other needs on her own--she comes here!Originally Posted by nancyweNW
He refuses to build her a fence(which in Daisy's case may be a good thing as her life would be pretty miserable if she couldn't get over here). She lives about a mile from us through the forest, maybe not even that far on her shortcut path! She is here 90% of the time. She goes home only late at night or if her owners teenagers are around. She comes on every walk I take; she runs beside my dog team all winter; she hangs out in my yard several days a week; she's at my gate every morning; I feed her most nights, I keep her in my porch on the nights I think the wolves are around in the winter.
Basically, I just don't pay her vet bills! If she needs something medically, I call her owner and he takes care of it.
You should see him in the spring during the mud season! He looks miserable all the time. It's hard being solid white and a clean freak!Originally Posted by finn's mom
