I'm going to see Nancy Drew and then out to dinner. Then I'll go home & watch the neighbor's fireworks. I have to stay home with Fenway because he gets really scared of the bangs. I have to work the next day, so no partying for me.

I'll be painting my rental house inside and laying laminate flooring in one room on the Fourth (fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth).
Is this why I have the holiday and vacation time off of 'work'?
