OH/VA area Female great dane in need of home

Good news for Maddie... (even if I can't have her)

You sound like a perfect home, Unfortunately we found someone for Maddie, I hadn't been able to catch up with Heidi to update her. The owners of Maddie really wanted to keep her, but their situation didn't allow it, we were lucky enough to find someone near them that was interested in doing a long term 10 month foster until they got their house. It worked out well for both of them as the foster home had a dane that really needed another playmate to work on his socialization. And for the owners because they really didn't want to give her up. As a retired breeder and a contract that states that all rehoming, needs to be done through me, it is possible that another situation could come up. I had another returned in January do to a divorce. We ended up keeping him ourselves, but with 5 danes a boxer, a shih tzu, 3 cats and 3 kids, we just wouldn't be able to take in another, hence why we were looking for a placement for Maddie. Would it be ok if I kept your name on File and let you know if something else came up? If you have found something by then it would be ok, but you just sound perfect, that would be a great match for a dane. well I'm glad to hear that!
But the good news is that she has your name on file AND you think you are ready for a dog!! Don't give up - one will turn up and you will be so happy with it. As a dog and cat mom myself I can't imagine not having both now.
