They are just about extinct in Vanuatu, evidently they are a delicacy, and yes....an aphrodisiac. But on some islands there's heaps of them. On Christmas Island, which is Aussie territory, they are protected and there is millions of them. Trouble is tho....they only come out at night, so I guess you'd have to watch where you sleep....lol.![]()

Note to self: Do not honeymoon on Christmas Island!

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.
Forget steel toed boot Pat... how about just staying the h*ll away from the coconut groves!!!!Originally Posted by cyber-sibes

Woah! That thing would give you one heck of a fright if you went to put the rubbish out one morning and there it was on the bin!

Nature is amazing though, to be able to create creatures like that.

I've seen one of them in a smaller version on the Travel Channel, featuring Vanuatu. Nature is amazing......he has the right tools to crack open a coconut, doesn't he?!!
In Vanuatu even the starfish looks quite pre-historic!!!!!
