    Oh no. This is so heartbreaking. What could have happened to this darling little one? I was totally in love with this little sweetie and thanking my stars above that you rescued her from an awful fate.

    RIP little baby. I'm so sorry the world is such a cruel place.

    Kate, it sounds like you did everything possible to help this baby. I'm so sorry.

    Thank goodness she had you with her and wasn't alone outside to die.

    She was eating and pooping! Yet...how utterly heartbreaking.

    Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this. I was wondering why this was listed in Memorials but kept on reading, hoping that it was just posted in the wrong place. All I can say is that she knew the kindness and warmth of the human touch, more than she would've known had she been left to her own defenses. Prayers going out to comfort you but please know that she is at peace and that you will know peace soon, as well. Grow strong at the RB, little one.
